SIMULATION OF THE FLIGHT HEIGHT CHANGE OF A SMALL AIRCRAFT EFIS SYSTEM

Abstract


The presented article briefly describes the creation of a functional stand device of the EFIS system intended for simulating height changes of small aircraft. The procedure for the preparation of the workplace, a description of the design, implementation, and program management of the simulation of the required input parameters, which can be monitored in real-time on the display unit of the device, is presented. The created user interface, which is in the Slovak language, turns the stand device into a study aid for students of the Faculty of Aeronautics, the Technical University of Košice, especially for students of the Department of Avionics.
