DIMENSIONING SUBSYSTEMS FOR AIRCRAFT, PASSENGER AND BAGGAGE HANDLING BASED ON THE MASS HANDLING THEORY
Abstract
The article deals with the Mass Handling Theory. This theory represents the field of applied mathematics and it is used to quantitatively evaluate systems which can satisfy customer requirements. It examines the activity of those mass handling systems which contain repeated requirements for handling. The first part describes the Mass Handling Theory, mass handling systems, system classification, deterministic system and effectiveness criteria. The analytical part characterizes respective processes of aircraft, passenger and baggage handling. The project part of the paper contains the process of calculation of the system load factor to determine if the system is used, underused or overused.
Keywords
