SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN AVIATON

Abstract

The aim of the contribution is to analyze the principle of operation of satellite communication systems, their architecture and the services provided to users. It descrbes the individual satelite communication systems, which ensure reliable communication. Also introduced are the potentials of using satellite communication systems in aviation. It is followed by comparison of the systems in terms of data trasfer and ruggedness against interference.
